Insanity - a conversation between roommates.

This is a summary of a conversation I had with my roommate Forest today.

"Forest, I feel like I'm going insane. I have all these things I want to accomplish, I don't have enough time." I said dolefully. He was my roommate and a loyal friend at that. "Or the cash to do them. Ahh!"

"Scott.. you already are insane. There's no helping that." He responded and laughed abruptly. I flicked my cigarette, exhaled a cloud of smoke and stared at him.

"Well.. alright... that's taken care of." I laughed.

"Yep. You could always join the Peace Corps. Travel and such." He laughed again. "You're good at that shit."

"Yeah. I don't think they'd take an insane genius like myself." I bit back.

"No. You're just really impatient and worried about everything." He said.

I took another drag and we both sat in smoky silence. He was right. I thought respectively. "Well... thanks for the cigarette anyway." I laughed.

"Hell yeah. Don't worry about it." Forest put his cig out and headed for the garage door. "Have a good day, man."

"Thanks bro." I laughed and took a couple more drags before putting my own out. I realized one thing. Maybe I actually need to slow down. Step by step, kind of an action. Hell. It works for everyone else it seems. I have this super high gear that seems to never slow down. Hence the "Danger Kid" nickname I've received from almost all my old friends.

Insane or a genius? Time will decide. :)
